Description

Maha Manjishtadi Kashaya Choornam is a classical Ayurvedic formulation composed of Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia) along with a rich blend of herbs including Musta (Cyperus rotundus), Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica), Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia), Bala (Sida cordifolia), and Daruharidra (Berberis aristata) among others.  Traditionally used to address chronic infectious skin conditions, gout, facial paralysis, filariasis, numbness in the legs, partial paralysis, obesity, and eye disorders,  this formulation also acts as an effective blood purifier and anti-infective in cases of eczema, boils, urticaria, and rheumatism.

Indications

ll types of kusta (Diseases of skin), Vatarakta (Gout), Ardita (Facial palsy), Upadhamsa (Syphilis), Slipada (Filariasis), Supti (Numbness), Pakshagata (Hemiplegia), Medodosa (Disorder of adipose tissue), Netraroga (Disease of the eye).

Doses

Take 60 gm. powder, to this add 960 ml. of water and boil till it reduced to 120 ml. kasayam is prepared. 30 to 60 ml. kasayam before food twice a day or as directed by the physician.
