Our journey began in the late 1980s in Erode, Tamil Nadu, South India when Shri SKM Maeilanandhan, our Founder Chairman, was requested by his spiritual Guru Swami Vedathri Maharishi to support and uphold the Siddha system of medicine. To fulfill the Guru's vision, SKM charity hospital and a medicine preparation unit were started under a trust, offering free consultation and medicines.

Maharishi, himself a Siddhar, meticulously guided every step of our medicine preparation. He deputed Thiru Muthuswami Ayya, a renowned traditional vaidyar, to further guide diagnosis, treatment, and medicinal formulation.

The quality, safety, and effectiveness of SKM medicines quickly gained the trust of Siddha and Ayurveda practitioners across South India. To meet growing demand, the trust evolved into a company in 1990, allowing broader distribution of our medicines nationwide.

Today, under the guidance of traditional vaidyars, expert doctors, botanists, chemists, and supported by strict quality control and GMP standards, we proudly manufacture 537 Siddha, 686 Ayurveda, 239 Unani, and 620 proprietary formulations in our ISO-GMP certified facility.

Recognized for quality, safety, and efficacy, SKM medicines are now vital to AYUSH practitioners and widely used by the public for disease treatment, preventive care, and overall wellness.
