Kumaryasavam (Kumaryasava or Kumari Asava) is an authentic fermented herbal tonic of various potent herbs that has antioxidant, detoxifier, anti-toxin, antiepileptic, antihyperlipidemic, antirheumatic, anti-inflammatory, cardio-protective, carminative, cholagogue, digestive stimulant, emmenagogue, haematinic, laxative & diuretic medicinal properties. According to Ayurveda, Kumari Asava used to correct the “Vata Dosha” and “Kapha Dosha”. Useful in the treatment of agnimandhya (digestive impairment), paktisula (duodenal ulcer), parinamasula (ulcer), udavarta (upward movement of gases), mutrakrchara (dysuria), prameha (urinary disorder), asmari (calculus) , raktapitta (bleeding disorders), apasmara (epilepsy), sukradosa (vitiation of semen), krmi (worm infestation), smrtiksaya (loss of memory), daurbalya (weakness), udara (abdominal diseases) karsya (emaciation), ksaya (pthisis), aruci (tastelessness), vaivarnya (discoloration).
