Durvadi Thailam is an herbal oil based on Kerala Ayurvedic principles, prepared using either sesame oil infused with Durva Swarasa and Kalka. Its primary application is external—used on the scalp to relieve itching, dandruff, scabies, and for the quick healing of non‑healing wounds and skin rashes. The oil combines both oil‑soluble and water‑soluble phytoconstituents, delivering analgesic, anti‑inflammatory, and antiseptic effects.
