Dhanwantharam Thailam is a time-tested Ayurvedic formulation traditionally used in Abhyanga (therapeutic oil massage), Basti (medicated enema), and other Panchakarma procedures to support Vata dosha balance. The formulation is centered around Bala (Sida cordifolia) and cow’s milk, combined with nourishing and strength-promoting ingredients like Aswagandha, Gokshura, Dashamoola (Bilwa, Agnimantha, Syonaka, etc.), and a range of rejuvenating herbs including Medha, Manjista, Sariva, Triphala, and Tagara. The base of Tila Taila (Sesame oil) aids deep tissue penetration. Traditionally, this oil is used for managing neuromuscular conditions, postpartum care, developmental disorders in children, and conditions of physical weakness when administered under qualified Ayurvedic supervision. It promotes strength, nourishment, and circulation in muscles and nerves.
