SKM Avalgujadi Lepam is a classical Ayurvedic paste (lepam) formulated with the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia commonly known as Bakuchi,and purified Haratala (orpiment, a form of arsenic sulfide).his formulation is traditionally indicated for addressing leukoderma (white skin patches), aiding pigmentation restoration through its photosensitizing action on melanocytes. It is additionally applied to manage fungal infections such as tinea and dermatophytosis, and offers partial relief for minor burn scars by supporting skin healing and texture improvement. Users typically apply a thin layer of paste onto the affected area—mixed with cow’s urine, water, or suitable oil—and wash it off after 10–30 minutes. This product is strictly for external use and must only be used under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic physician.
